What the pages are

Everything published here is general information for an owner whose books are behind. It is not advice about your own numbers, and reading it does not make you a client. Rules change and land differently on different facts, so confirm anything that matters for your return before you act on it.

A free call is a conversation

The time you book creates no engagement, no ongoing duty, and no obligation on either side. We will say what we see and what an engagement would involve, including when the honest answer is that the file is not ready. Work begins only when both of us sign a written engagement that names the scope and the fee.

Scope, records, and ending

Every engagement is defined in writing before it starts. Work outside that writing is quoted before it is done. Either of us may end an engagement in writing. You remain responsible for fees earned to that date, and your records come back to you. You keep the decisions. We keep the sort we were hired to do, inside the writing.

The site is offered as it stands. We correct errors we learn about. We do not promise that a page is complete for every industry or every year.

You keep ownership of your file. Logins we use are yours to revoke. Copies of statements we hold are for the work named in the engagement, and they go when that work ends unless a record duty says otherwise. We do not keep a shadow set of books that you cannot open.

A link on these pages to a public agency or to the practice hub is there so you can read the source. It is not an endorsement of every page on that site, and it does not make that site part of this one.

If a sentence here conflicts with the written engagement, the engagement wins. These terms cover the public pages and the free conversation. They do not replace the scope you sign later.

Missing a booked time does not create a fee. The conversation stays free until a written engagement names a price, and a missed time only means we wait for the next one you choose.

Where a dispute about these pages is heard

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, and any dispute belongs in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
